Kismet Se Milna (Teaser)

We have to thank Jawad Mir at Film Style Weddings for three reasons.  One, for teaching us the differences between Videography & Cinematography.  Two, for inviting us to showcase some of our CTC West pieces in this project.  Three, for introducing us to the lovely Cassandra and Ravi who are getting married this month. 

We can't wait to see the full piece, but in the meantime, here's an awesome little trailer.

Tarun Tahiliani Bridal Couture 2011

Tarun Tahiliani GETS IT!  It's that fine balance between our Eastern heritage, and the fit, cut and simplicity of the Western world.  It's a rare balance, and TT has proven his skills as if he was a professionally trained tightrope walker.  

In an interesting move, Tahiliani has dismissed the idea of another industry fashion show, and instead has decided to showcase the 2011 Tarun Tahiliani Bridal Couture Exposition in a gallery setting. He'll be taking his exposition outside of the traditional Delhi and Mumbai stops, with exhibitions scheduled in Hyderabad and Kolkata as well.

Over the past couple of years, I've enjoyed Tahiliani's soft colour schemes, wide vintage borders and most importantly, his simplicity in design.

Giselli Monteiro + Indian Bridal Wear

This is strikingly beautiful to us.  Such a sweet balance of new and old, done with the necessary attention to detail that turns a great idea into a GREAT final product.

The star of the shoot, Giselli Monteiro, is a Brazilian model and Bollywood actress.  She made her film debut playing the role of "Harleen Kaur" in the 2009 Bollywood film Love Aaj Kal.
